The highest honor awarded by the Boys State Board of Directors is the Boys State Hall of Fame.  This award is made periodically to individuals or organizations, whose service, commitment or financial support to Boys State is so outstanding as to deserve this special honor.  It is the intent this prestigious award be given only for extraordinary support of the program that goes well beyond length of service or regular fulfillment of responsibilities, or service to the program.

Induction into the Missouri Boys State Hall of Fame is made when in the judgment of the Hall of Fame Committee appointed by the Director of Boys State, a person or organization merits Missouri Boys State's highest honor.
