One of the other three areas of the journalism program at Boy’s State is the KMBS Radio Station. The citizens get the unique experience of reporting and broadcasting in an authentic radio station found right on campus of UCM. Like the newspaper and T.V. station, the radio reporters go to class in the morning and then plan out their broadcast that night and record it. Each night’s recording is made available to all the cities as well as on the website. The broadcasts included campaigning commercials, music, and news stories from all around Boy’s State. Again, the counselors and equipment available to the citizens help make the broadcasting experience as realistic as it can be.
*Each broadcast will be uploaded to the website the day its available.
