The 2009 Missouri Boys State Awards ceremony was held in the University of Central Missouri Multipurpose Building on Saturday Morning. This followed a demonstration of various governmental activities by the citizens that that parents and guests observed on a short tour. Citizens held city council meetings, county commissioner hearings, both the House and Senate were in session, the Supreme Court heard and decided a case, and there were various stations to represent the schools of instruction and other groups.
