We, the Nationalist Party proudly declare:
Here’s the deal: we are the party of liberty. Liberties are God-given and it is not the purpose of civilized government to infringe on individual liberty but to preserve the freedoms of the citizens of Boys State and the citizens of our constitutional republic. Government must protect freedom by ensuring one citizen takes no freedoms of his fellow citizen. The only way free society can be ensured is through the strict sanctity of private property. Contracts between the free will of citizens must always be honored by solidifying honesty and ethics in our homes, businesses and courts. We strongly uphold Thomas Jefferson’s unabashed certitude, “that government which governs best, governs least.” Liberty and prosperity, which bring us the best lives and the most happiness are created by the voluntary goodwill of the people through free market capitalism and generous charity. These are our fundamental tenants.
Backed by untarnished faith in our principles, the Nationalist party is the unbiased party for the betterment of Missouri Boys State. So here’s the deal. We will push for low taxes accomplished through a fair flat percentage rate. We encourage entrepreneurship by allowing a tax-free grace period for start-up businesses. We are the party of all business—businesses which all of us as free people create to bring us jobs, prosperity, happiness, and a better quality of life. Our free market capitalism places us against easy money policies that spend massively and destroy the value of every dollar that you own—it is the most oppressive and most dishonest tax to inflate currency.
Without compromising principle, we the Nationalist will work tirelessly for more involvement of each and every Missouri Boys Stater. To accomplish this, we must foster a society that is not only free, but connects liberty with altruism that is peaceful, open, and upright. It is therefore mandatory to establish a system of transparency in business and government, promoting evenhandedness. Transparency represents the equality of all individual persons by recognizing each mind’s right to know. A peaceful society is a society grounded in truth.
We the Nationalist dare to uphold that truth can only be meaningful if the moral values of Boys State proceed directly from truths that are self-evident. Chief among these truths is the sanctity of all human life. So here’s the deal. Life begins at conception; abortion is murder and should be prosecuted as such. Peace and justice cannot exist so long as we tolerate the killing of innocents. The same moral values that build families, common decency and rules of good behavior persuade the hard that it is the law that must protect the weakest, the innocent and those who cannot protect themselves. It is not liberty but liberty’s greatest perversion which reasons that justice is the advantage of the stronger and the freedoms of one person can be harvested to serve the free choice of another. We that Nationalists forever place what is right and moral above what is comfortable and convenient.
The Nationalist party has a grand vision for Missouri Boys State as a state where freedom allows us to prosper and corruption is thrown onto the sword of justice held by our courts. The currency prerequisite to foster this vision comes from the vehicles of freedom of trade and freedom of transportation. So here’s the deal: we demand that the cities and counties of Boys State never place government in the way of free, peaceful trade. We demand a toll-free Boys State. We demand that freedom of trade and production shall not be abridged.
We the Nationalists bring us this deal because it is the only deal crafted for our unique society—the only deal it deserves—and the only deal that guarantees it shall not perish from the face of the earth. We are the most civilized nation in all of history. We are the first to acknowledge unconditionally Man’s inherent ability to succeed of his own free will. We are a moral people. And it is to us that the Nationalists pledge this deal with our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.
