"I did not know what to expect when I walked in, but when I walked out, I ended up making many new friends. At first, I thought that "A Week to Shape a Lifetime" was just a catchy slogan, but it ended up being exactly what it said it was."
The most important thing that you can do to prepare yourself for attending Missouri Boys State is to attend an orientation meeting. These meeting are presented by MBS staff volunteers and Legion members. We have designed these meetings to be very informative and provide a comprehensive overview of the program.
It is very important that you and your parents/guardians attend one of these meetings as we will be handing out a packet of documents and materials that you will need prior to and during the week of Missouri Boys State.
This will be time for you and your parents to ask questions and meet fellow delegates from your area.
These meetings are very important and we ask you attend at least one meeting held in your district. If for some reason you cannot attend a meeting, please contact headquarters.
