Answers
What are my responsibilities when it comes to Boys State?
Basically, it is up to you to help us find the most qualified candidates from your school to send to MBS. Please review the criteria set forth in the Eligibility Requirements section of the website on selecting the best students. Review the application and have the prospective student(s) complete the application. Obtain your school principal's signature as well as the parent's signature and send it to the MBS District Chairman in your area. Once the District Chairman receives the application, it will be considered for selection. Keep in mind the final decision on participation in the Boys State program rests with the MBS District Chairman.

How many students can I send?
The number of students selected from each high school to attend Missouri Boys State is determined by available sponsorships, school enrollment and student qualifications. Our goal is to have every high school in the state of Missouri represented at our program.

Where can I get the application form?
We require each student to fillout an electronic application on our website. After he has completed this process, he must print a copy and both he and his parents/guardian must sign it. It then must be signed by the High School Principal.
Please note: we do not accepted handwritten applications. Every application must be filled out on our website and printed.

Many are answered in the Boys State Basics section of this website, or if they still have questions, they can contact Missouri Boys State Headquarters.
